Why is it a solidarity trek?

Because while you enjoy this Trekking with a local and sustainable agency in Nepal, too you collaborate with the project of the Maresía Association (www.maresia.ong). The Seasiness Association for the Promotion of International Volunteering and the Sustainable Development Goals develops an educational and communication development project in a village in Nepal. The benefits obtained with this solidarity trekking revert to school maintaining the dining room as well as improving the living conditions of children in Nepal.

This circuit consists of walks that do not require a great technique in which you will travel picturesque towns in western Nepal at the foot of the Annapurna. This trekking will allow you to get an idea of the traditional lifestyle in the authentic towns of Nepal, where we will ascend to Poon Hill 3210 meters from where you will enjoy the sunrise over the most spectacular mountains on Earth.

Day01

April 4th: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300 m / 4,264 ft)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our airport representative welcomes you and will accompany you to the hotel in Kathmandu. After a while to cool off, in the evening you will enjoy a welcome dinner in one of the typical restaurants in the heart of Kathmandu and you will have a briefing on your trip.

Optional: Depending on your flight schedule, we can organize guided tours of Durbar Square and / or the Temple of the Monkeys. 20 Euros

Day02

April 5th: Kathmandu Journey to the Pokhara Valley (823 m), 6 – 8 hours, depending on traffic

Early in the morning, we will travel by tourist bus to Pokhara through the beautiful landscapes of Nepal until we reach Pokhara. Transfer to the hotel and free time to explore the surroundings of Lake Phewa.

Day03

April 6th: Journey to Nayapul (1 hour by car) and start the trek to Tikhedhunga (1,577m), 4 hours of trekking

Today, after breakfast, our trekking guide will accompany you by car to Naya Pul where you will begin our walk to Birethanti, a large and prosperous city next to the Modi River. We climbed the main path towards Sudami, where we gradually climbed up the valley side, reaching Hile (1495 m) before continuing towards Tikhe Dhunga.

Day04

April 7th: Trekking to Ghorepani (2,850m). 5-6 hours of trekking.

After breakfast we prepare for the long uphill and begin to ascend the long stone steps to the town of Ulleri with the incredible landscape and landscape of the Himalayas. We spent a pleasant day trekking through the rhododendron and oak forests. The landscape will give you strength to climb these steps and immerse yourself in the surroundings. After a few hours of walking with several breaks between Ghorepani, we can enjoy the fantastic views of the Himalayas of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna.

Day05

April 8th: Trekking to Poon Hill and trek to Ghandurk (1900m) 6-7 hours of trekking

We will start early to ascend Poon Hill Hill at 3210 meters altitude. After about 40 minutes of ascent, we will enjoy the sunrise surrounded by the great mountains of the Himalayas. From here, we can see an unobstructed sunrise over the upper Himalayas and the wide range of panoramic landscapes from the far west of the Dolpo Himalayas, Mount Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, including the mount. Machhapuchre (Fish Tail). We will continue towards Ghandruk, which is the traditional town of Gurung at the foot of the Annapurna. Here we will observe Gurung’s tradition and lifestyle.

Day06

April 9th: Trekking 1 hour and return by car to Pokhara

Our adventure ends here and we return to Pokhara for the night.

Day07

April 10th: Journey from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,300 m), 6-8 hours by car.

Early in the morning we will drive to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, the guide will move to the hotel and the rest of the time he will relax or explore the surrounding areas and spend the night at the hotel.

Day08

April 11th: Departure from Kathmandu

Enjoy the day off and take the opportunity to explore Kathmandu or shop.

Transfer to the airport to return to Spain.

Cost Includes:

  • Airport pick-up and transfer to the hotel by private vehicle
  • 3 * boutique hotel in Kathmandu and Pokhara with breakfast
  • All accommodation at TeaHouses during trekking
  • All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) during the trek.
  • All necessary documents and permits to enter the Annapurna National Conservation Park.
  • Transportation by Tourist Bus.
  • Permit of the information management system for hikers (TIMS).
  • An experienced guide.
  • Porters (1 carrier for 2 people, maximum 20 kilos)
  • Expenses of salary, food, drinks, accommodation, transportation and insurance for the guide and the carrier.
  • All government taxes and fees.

  • Entry visa to Nepal (30 euros)
