It consists of places related with Sakyamuni Buddha, his past life, major stupas of Nepal and the rich Buddhist heritage of Kathmandu valley. We will take you to Patan, a Buddhist city surrounded by 4-Ashoka stupas and has numerous Bahas’ (Newari style Monasteries) and stupas. The self-arisen Stupa, Swayambhunath, on the perfect hilltop point to view the Kathmandu valley; Bouddhanath, the grand wish fulfilling stupa; reflect the Buddhist heritage rooted in the valley for centuries. Get spiritually charged in the Birthplace of Buddha, strolling around the Pond where he bathed right after birth and monasteries surrounding the area. Follow the path to the activities of Sakyamuni as a Bodhisattva in his former life to NamoBuddha where he performed virtuous offering of his body to a hungry tigress. Explore the ruins of Palace of the ancient Shakya Kingdom where Buddha spent 29 years of his life. We will also visit the birthplaces of past Buddhas, ie Krakuchanda and Kanakamuni.
